The Manager will play a pivotal role in executing the universitys strategic plan to expand its portfolio of academic partnerships, both locally and internationally. This includes establishing, managing, and enhancing collaborations such as franchise programmes, student exchanges, dual awards, and other relevant academic arrangements. The role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with excellent relationship management skills and strong operational capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development & Management Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic academic partnerships with local and international institutions, including franchise programmes, dual awards, articulation agreements, and joint ventures. Lead the development and implementation of bi-directional student exchange programmes (inbound and outbound). Conduct due diligence, feasibility assessments, and academic evaluations of potential partner institutions to ensure alignment with the universitys quality and compliance standards. Serve as the Universitys main liaison with all current and prospective academic partners, ensuring seamless communication, service delivery, and partner satisfaction. Governance, Compliance & Frameworks Develop and implement comprehensive frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and regulatory guidelines to support and govern collaborative academic programmes. Ensure all partnership activities and collaborative programmes are compliant with relevant Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs), national regulatory frameworks (e.g. MQA, MOHE), and institutional policies. Provide advisory support to the Senate and relevant University committees on matters related to academic partnerships and collaborative arrangements. Operational Oversight & Reporting Manage all operational aspects of collaborative programmes, including coordination with internal departments (academic, finance, registry, admissions, international office, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation. Oversee the day-to-day operations of student mobility initiatives, including planning, logistics, and partner engagement. Monitor, evaluate, and report on key performance metrics, including student numbers, programme performance, financial outcomes, and partner engagement levels. Ensure accurate billing and timely issuance of financial invoices to all partners in accordance with agreed timelines and partnership terms. Strategic Growth & Performance Drive the growth, visibility, and reputation of the Centre through strategic initiatives that enhance revenue, increase student mobility, and broaden academic reach. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global trends in higher education collaboration and recommend new areas of opportunity aligned with institutional goals. Other Responsibilities Manage departmental resources and personnel, ensuring effective workflow and performance across the team. Support the Universitys broader internationalisation strategy through active participation in relevant events, conferences, and partner visits. Undertake other related duties and projects as assigned by the Group Chief Commercial Officer or senior management. Skills and Experiences

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree; Possess at least a minimum of 5 years of experience in education industry (Academic or administrative, preferably in a similar role and capacity, and have proven demonstrable achievements; Knowledge on academic affairs will be an added advantage; and Able to write and converse well in English. Experience managing a team or department, including setting goals, overseeing performance, and supporting team development. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisational structures and coordinate across multiple departments and external organisations. Familiarity with non-academic or industry partnership models (e.g. private education providers, NGOs, corporate training partnerships, or international organisations). Proven ability to work in matrix or cross-functional environments, especially those involving international partners or satellite offices. Demonstrated success in building networks and cultivating long-term professional relationships that deliver tangible outcomes. Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments where adaptability and strategic agility are key. Exposure to international education systems, or global mobility trends. A collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead discussions, resolve conflicts, and build consensus across diverse cultures and professional levels.
