About the role

Sugo Village is seeking a talented and ambitious Management Trainee to join our dynamic retail team on Penang Island. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of retail operations and management, with the ultimate goal of developing into a future store manager or leader within our growing organisation.

What youll be doing

1. Undergo a structured training program to learn all facets of store management, including inventory control, staff scheduling, customer service, and financial reporting

2. Assist the store manager in daily operations and decision-making to ensure efficient and effective store performance

3. Participate in analysing sales data and implementing strategies to drive growth and customer satisfaction

4. Provide exceptional customer service and act as a brand ambassador for Sugo Village

5. Support the training and development of store associates

6. Contribute to the implementation of visual merchandising and in-store marketing initiatives

What were looking for

1. Aged 20-27 years, with a Diploma or Bachelors degree in any field

2. A strong interest in retail industry -open to fresh graduates with no experience

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, coupled with a keen attention to detail

5. Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
