Import Export Specialist Posting Date : 17 Jul 2025 | Close Date :15 Oct 2025 Client Background: Developer and manufacturer of optoelectronic devices Position Title: Import & Export Specialist Location: Batu Kawan, Penang Headcount: 1 Tenure: Permanent Job Responsibilities: 1. Handle all specific matters related to the companys import and export customs clearance, logistics, and freight forwarding to ensure the smooth operation of the companys import, export, and logistics business.. 2. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. 3. Coordinate with customs officials, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders. 4. Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and related documentation. 5. Coordinate shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods. 6. Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues that arise during transit. 7. Negotiate with logistics providers to secure cost-effective services. 8. Manage order placement and payments. 9. Ensure accurate and timely payment processing. 10. Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding order status and delivery schedules. 11. Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders and payments. 12. Undertake other tasks assigned by the General Affairs Department and the company. Requirement: 1. Bachelors degree or above; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. 2. Major in International Trade or related fields is preferred. 3. Possess knowledge of international trade and a general understanding of customs clearance procedures. 4. Willing to engage in import, export, and logistics-related work in the long term. 5. Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay. 7. Diligent, eager to learn, proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and execution capabilities. 8. Experience in LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) and related management is an added advantage.
