POSITION 1 - CONVEYANCING CLERKSJeff Leong, Poon & Wong are seeking dedicated and responsible Conveyancing Clerks to join our Conveyancing team. If you have a keen eye for details and a strong grasp of conveyancing procedures, we welcome you to apply.
Job Responsibilities but not limited to: 1. Handle sales and purchase agreements for sub-sale and developer projects 2. Manage loan documentation for end-financing and refinancing cases 3. Liaise with clients, banks, developers, and government authorities 4. Monitor file progress, deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of documents 5. Perform land office submissions and follow ups 6. Ad hoc tasks that are assigned by the Hiring Partners.
POSITION 2 - PERFECTION CLERKS
Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong are looking for Perfection Clerks to join our Conveyancing team. If you have experience in handling Perfection of Transfer (POT) and charge matters (POC), and are prepared for an exciting journey to learn more about Conveyancing, we welcome you to grow your career with us.
Job Responsibilities 1. Handle Perfection of Transfer and Perfection of Charge files 2. Liaise with clients, banks, developers, land officer and relevant government authorities 3. Prepare and submit legal documents for registration 4. Monitor timelines, follow up on progress and ensure timely completion of assignments 5. Maintain proper records and filing for all related documentation 6. Other ad hoc responsibilities as determined by the Hiring Partners.
Qualifications and Requirements:
POSITION 1 - CONVEYANCING CLERKSRequirements 1. Preferably with 2 years of working experience in conveyancing (sub-sale, loan documentation, or project work) though candidates with lesser experience but with positive mindset will be considered, 2. Familiarity with loan documentation for various banks and conveyancing procedures 3. Acceptable level of command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage) 4. Responsible, well organized, and able to work independently
POSITION 2 - PERFECTION CLERKS
Requirements 1. Preferably with at least a year of working experience in perfection matters 2. Some familiarity with land office procedures and loan documentation is ideal 3. A reasonable level of communicative level in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage) 4. Responsible, meticulous, organized, and attention to details

Our founder partners were part of a regional cross border team of a law firm in South East Asia with experience in cross border investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. From 2002 to 2011, we were affiliated with an international law firm operating across jurisdictions within Asia Pacific region. From an initial team of 3 founding partners in 1999, we have grown to 50 lawyers comprising 15 partners and 35 associates today.
