Job Responsibilities:

  1. 24x7 Day or Night shift rotation (14 - 16 days)
  2. Assist the Operations team to optimize the capability of the Singtel Managed Cloud platforms to deliver a cost-effective and sustained level of availability to meet corporate customers requirements. Incorporate continuous improvement process in operations through constant monitoring, reporting, evaluating and improving the operation metrics.
  3. Assist the Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations based on established tasks and processes that conform with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  4. Assist the Operations Manager in adhering to Singtel Managed Cloud platforms operational standards, processes and guidelines that are in line with industry standards and best practices.
  5. Assist the Operations Manager in improving Singtel Managed Cloud platforms to align with industry best practices.

Minimum Qualification: Diploma/ Bachelor of Computer Science

Experience and Skill Requirements:

  1. Public Cloud, Private Cloud
  2. Basic knowledge of Public Cloud such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure or any commercial Cloud platform.
  3. Basic knowledge of Private Cloud in terms of vCloud Director, vROPS, VMware, Edge Gateway.
  4. Virtualization Technology (VMware)
  5. Operating Systems (Windows, RedHat, CentOS, SUSE)
  6. Apps Server, Databases, Web Technology
  7. System Management skills (e.g. AD, DNS etc.)
  8. Commodity Server Hardware (e.g. Rackmounts, Blade and Enclosures)
  9. Converged Hyper Appliance (e.g. Nutanix, VCE, EMC VXrail etc.)
  10. Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR)
  11. Storage and Backup (Optional)
  12. Storage Arrays based on HP, 3PAR, EMC, NetApp, Dell
  13. San Switches (Brocade, MDS)
  14. Backup technologies from EMC Avamar, Symantec NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam
  15. Network and Security (Optional)
  16. Basic network understanding
  17. Network Management based on technology from Cisco, Juniper, Aristas, HP, F5
  18. Information Security Management (Firewall, IDS/IPS, IPAM etc.)
