Bid Management Professional - Asia Pacific

Overview Bid Management Professional - Asia Pacific role at Siemens Energy. You will be part of our regional hub sales support team for Compression, preparing customer quotes for spare parts opportunities, repair opportunities, and full outage projects including field service. This role will advise and support Client Managers to determine customer needs and identify service opportunities. You will coordinate between the Product Competence Centers (PCCs) and various collaborators (supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, service project management, client managers). The role reports to the Head of Sales Support - Bid Management Asia-Pacific for Compression and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

How Youll Make An Impact

Preparation of Technical and Commercial service proposals.

Provide administrative, technical and commercial support to Sales team.

Work to create and develop scope of proposals together with other departments and entities.

Request and receive pricing from affiliate vendors to support proposals.

Engagement and collaboration with other departments and entities to handle orders.

Participate in process improvement activities.

What You Bring

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or related.

Knowledge of Rotating Equipment and working knowledge of sales cycles and processes.

Knowledge of CRM Tool Salesforce.com (or other similar system) and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Access) is essential.

Previous experience with complex tender compilation/preparation and experience of working in a Sales team is preferred.

Strong business acumen and commercial sense with a high level of attention to detail.

Strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills, teamwork and effective communication skills.

Experience in working with sales calculations.
