Associate - CX-Customer Onboarding & Billing (GETB)
Responsible for the new business processing for agency and banca channel, ensure the onboarding, and security of records within operations function. Additionally, the incumbent will also support strategic initiatives through data analysis and insights to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of new business operations.
Key responsibilities:
Performs accurate data entry and validation of new business proposal and new business forms.
Ensures timely and accurate processing of new applications in accordance with internal SLAs and regulatory requirements.
Coordinates with sales, underwriting, and policy servicing teams to resolve application issues and ensure smooth onboarding.
Assists in training to contract staff on document management and banca related processes.
Involves handling physical and digital records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting internal team with document retrieval and management.
Processes policy alteration request such as change in address, email, or coverage adjustment.
Ensures timely updates in system and proper documentation is maintained.
Updates incoming documents via sub system i.e. BOR, MPOS, emails, ensure documents flow to next level processes.
Handles and respond to emails inquiries from agents, business development team, banca sales support promptly.
Escalates complex cases to the relevant parties and follow through until resolution.
Supports initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing processing errors.
Collaborates with counter partner or cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions as per guidance by supervisor.
Participates in workflow improvements and system enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Manages physical and electronic document flow related to new business and alterations.
Ensures proper filing, scanning, and tracking of submitted forms and correspondence.
Monitors and manage turnaround ( TAT ) and service level agreements (SLAs)
Ensures all new business activities comply with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
Maintains proper documentation and audit trails for all transactions.
Supports internal and external audits by providing necessary information and clarifications.
Complies with Standard Operating Procedure (“SOP”) and Bank Negara/MTA regulations and governing guidelines.
Performs any other assignments and/or ad-hoc functions relevant to the job grade required by management from time to time.
Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, insurance or a related field.
Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in new business operations within the insurance or financial services industry.
Familiarity with Agency and Banca distribution models is preferred.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Basic knowledge of insurance products, underwriting and regulatory compliance.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Good communication skills (both written & verbal)
Familiarity with document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
