ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for all management financial performance reporting to the majority shareholders of MCIS (Sanlam) as well as Executive Management Committee and Board of Directors of MCIS.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Pricing
a. Determine the premium and profitability of new products and existing product enhancement.
b. Provide justification for pricing assumptions.
c. Prepare documents for BNM submission.
d. Ensure thorough UAT is carried out to test the accuracy of the information provided in the sales illustration and the rate setup in administration system.
e. Communicate the profitability results and system requirement effectively to other stakeholders.
f. Guide junior staff to perform pricing tasks.
g. Review the work done by junior staff.
2. Policy Servicing and Support
a. Provide actuarial support to other departments.
b. Communicate effectively with other stakeholders.
3. Reinsurance Administration
a Review of reinsurance information.
b. Liaise with reinsurers on pricing matters.
