About the role

AK Land Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As our Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting the overall financial management of the company. What youll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support the companys strategic decision-making
  • Reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Providing financial reporting and analysis to the management team
  • Contributing to the implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives
  • What were looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Thorough understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and best practices
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work
