Account Executive (Open to Malaysian citizens only)

Job Scope:

• Manage full set of accounts, including general ledger, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Handle and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) for software products and services, including recurring billing and license fees.
• Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Verify and process vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and supplier payments.
• Reconcile bank statements, AR/AP aging reports, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare and present financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities; perform variance analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory tax regulations and assist in SST/GST submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate billing terms and project-related financials.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for internal control and audit purposes.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other regulatory bodies as required.
• Contribute to the enhancement of accounting systems, automation processes, or ERP improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a software or tech-related industry.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Ability to analyze financial data and present meaningful insights.
• Experience handling AR/AP cycles and project-based financial transactions is preferred.
• Familiarity with SST/GST and other regulatory compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external coordination.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
