Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for a Claims Professional with experience in Accident & Health claims. The role will be based in our Kuala Lumpur office in Malaysia. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage claims across corporate travel and other accident & health products from Asia Middle East and

New Zealand and Australia regions. Undertake an investigation of each claim which includes assessing policy coverage, claims reserving and identify and pursue recovery opportunities, where possible. Provide high levels of customer service with clear communication to insureds and brokers with a proactive approach to achieving strong results for insureds.

Work closely with underwriters, actuaries and our claims teams in Asia Middle East, New Zealand and Australia, reporting on claim developments and trends, and support the delivery of BHSIs plans, goals and objectives. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accident & health claim handling experience. Specialization and strong knowledge in medical and reinsurance claims will be an added advantage.

Ability to work independently and assimilate learning materials on many different subjects from various sources. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and written communication skills. Flexible and be able to work in dynamic team environment.

Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment. Strong time management and organization skills, and ability to manage a high volume of frequency claims. Ability to communicate, read and write in Mandarin/ Cantonese are preferred.
