NURSE EDUCATOR (OPHTHALMOLOGY/DIABETES) (BANGI)

THE JOB

• To increase the competence and confidence of Healthcare Professionals and patients using Duopharma Products through effective education and engagement.

• To promote disease awareness via, Marketing campaign, continuous Medical Education (CME), patient access program for all assigned product(s).

• Provides teaching and facilitates evidence-based learning with Healthcare Professionals to optimize client outcome in clinical area.

• Facilitates care that is patient centred and individualized to cultural needs.

• Maintains and advances own clinical competence and professional development.

• Actively involved in the development, provision and evaluation of educational programs for nursing.

• To conduct CMEs and communicates effectively, positively and courteously.

• Advises on new development related to nursing education and contributes to appropriate policy, guidelines and protocol changes at unit and organizational level.

• Achieving all other performance indicators e.g. calls rates, Disease knowledge tests, franchise marketing activities etc.

• Spending 90% of the time in the field (hospitals, clinic, etc) and ensuring all planned activities are executed well.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing

• Post Basic in Diabetes Care or Ophthalmology

• Minimum 1-2 years working in Hospital setting; relevant disease (especially Ophthalmology) would be an advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged.

• Disease knowledge and demonstrate Nursing Skills.
