Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processing tasks.
• Manage daily activities in the vegetable processing line, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
• Implement strategies to minimize waste, such as optimizing cutting techniques and utilizing by-products.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any deviations promptly. bayt.com
• Lead and train production staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance on proper handling, cutting techniques, and equipment usage.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and quality.
• Implement corrective actions and process enhancements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions for staff.

Job Requirements

• Education: Minimum SPM or Diploma in a relevant field.
• Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role, preferably in food production or vegetable processing.
• Skills:
• Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Management: Experience in supervising teams and overseeing production processes.
• Communication: Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
• Technical: Familiarity with production machinery and basic troubleshooting.
• Software: Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Personal Attributes:
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
