Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the companys financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives in Malaysia. Provide strategic financial advice and insights to the CEO and executive team on key decisions. Lead the development of long-term financial plans, funding strategies, capital allocation, and profitability targets for Malaysian operations. Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and competitor activities to identify risks and opportunities. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans for Malaysia. Lead the FP&A team to deliver timely and insightful financial reports. Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and recommend improvements. Develop and track KPIs relevant to the Malaysian industry. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and statutory requirements. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Manage tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to local tax laws. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators. Treasury & Risk Management: Oversee treasury functions including cash management, banking, and FX risk management. Develop and implement risk management policies relevant to Malaysia. Ensure adequate insurance coverage for assets and liabilities. Internal Controls & Governance: Establish internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial information. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop the finance team in Malaysia, fostering a high-performance environment. Set performance expectations and support professional growth. Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with banks, investors, and regulators. Represent the finance function to the executive team and board. The Successful Applicant

10-15 years experience, leading a team of at least 5. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent. Strong leadership and motivational skills. Visionary, proactive, and willing to take calculated risks. Detail-oriented with a focus on business growth, cost savings, and process improvements. Strong understanding of accounting standards.
