Responsibility is to facilitate the smooth declaration of goods through customs by preparing and submitting accurate documentation. You ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facilitate the timely release of shipments. Responsibilities: 1) Place booking with carrier for East Malaysia shipments upon customer request. 2) Check carrier sailing schedule and select the appropriate vessel to move the shipment. 3) Submit ROT to haulier and request CMO from carrier. 4) Follow-up during weekdays & weekend on MT delivery to customer premise and laden collection/ gate in port. Ensure on time delivery and gate in port before closing time. 5) Request carrier to update booking/ cntr. no. in port system. Submit VGM in port system. 6) Follow-up container loading status and CIPL from customer. 7) Prepare and submit customs declarations for export shipments via EDI system. (Especially for K3 and assist on drafting declaration for K1, K2, K8, ZB1, ZB2) 8) Submit SMK in SDSIE system. Follow-up on customs approval. 9) Submit Shipping Instructions (SI) to carrier, check and confirm draft BL. 10) Follow-up with carrier for final BL and invoice once container loaded on board/vessel sailed. 11) Email pre-alert documents to customer/EM agent on time. 12) Standby to submit SSR for late gate-in (in case required). 13) Update and maintain daily tracking report and send to customer daily. 14) Close file and pass to billing team once shipment complete. 15) Support the team by delegating daily tasks and ensuring submission of customs documents in a timely manner. 16) Coordinate closely with the customs runner to monitor clearance status and ensure all tasks are completed before deadlines. 17) Take on additional tasks as required to support departmental operations and performance if required by HOD. 18) Make sure no complaints from customer regarding any issue with shipment and zero data in-accuracy. Requirements: 1) Minimum SPM/STPM, Diploma in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2) Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with carriers, port, freight forwarder and customers. 3) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. 4) Experience is Aldec system and DagangNet system is added advantage. 5) Well versed in port terminal system. 6) Computer literate (MS Office, EDI system). 7) Able to stay longer hours if required. 8) Able to join immediately.
