Responsibilities:
Ensure all etching and stamping equipment used in lead frame operations is operational 24/7, 365 days a year.
Lead, coach, and manage a team of equipment engineers and technicians.
Develop and execute a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule to prevent breakdowns and downtime.
Provide training to line technicians on basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repair skills.
Work closely with etching and stamping line managers to align equipment readiness with production schedules.
Troubleshoot complex breakdowns, coordinate vendor support, and minimize mean time to repair (MTTR).
Monitor and analyze equipment performance data (uptime %, MTBF, defect correlation) to ensure continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain spare parts inventory strategy to avoid unplanned downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, and ISO/IATF requirements in equipment operations.
Document all maintenance activities, breakdowns, and lessons learned for knowledge retention.
Establish Equipment Reliability Program with KPIs (uptime %, MTBF, PM compliance).
Collaborate with process engineers to identify and eliminate equipment-related defect sources.
Lead continuous improvement projects to upgrade tools, improve automation, and reduce downtime.
Plan for equipment capacity and redundancy to meet production growth needs.
Optimize spare parts and repair budgets while sustaining reliability.
Requirements:
At least a recognize Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
At least 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance and engineering within semiconductor, precision manufacturing, or high-volume production environment.
Proven experience in etching and stamping equipment preferred.
Strong leadership skills with ability to manage, coach, and develop teams.
Hands-on knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Proficient in equipment reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) and data analysis.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage 24/7 operations support.
