About the role
Arkema Coating Resins Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled Boilerman (Grade 1) to join our manufacturing team in Pasir Gudang Johor. As a Boilerman, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our industrial boilers, ensuring continuous production and meeting our high standards for quality and safety.
What you'll be doing
Operate and monitor the performance of industrial boilers, including starting up, shutting down and adjusting boiler operations as needed
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of boiler equipment to maintain optimal performance
Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions with the boiler system, and implement corrective actions
Maintain detailed logs and records of boiler operations, fuel consumption, and any maintenance or repair work
Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Provide training and guidance to junior boiler operators as required
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Boilerman or in a similar industrial boiler operations role
Possess a valid Boiler Attendant's Certificate (Grade 1) for operations and maintenance of industrial boilers
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot boiler equipment
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other members of the production team
Commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible work environment
