About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Cashiers and Waitresses to join our dynamic team at Yu Ga Lok, a vibrant retail and dining establishment in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and playing a key role in the smooth and efficient operation of our business.

What youll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner

2. Accurately operating the cash register and handling financial transactions

3. Assisting customers with product inquiries and recommendations

4. Preparing and serving food and beverages to customers

5. Maintaining a clean and well-organised work environment

6. Collaborating with the team to ensure a positive customer experience

7. Adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What were looking for

1. Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the food and beverage industry

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner

3. Excellent cash handling and numerical skills, with attention to detail

4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

6. Proficiency in English and the local language (Malay)
