Production Executive

Mintel is looking for a Production Executive to join our in-house Digital Publishing team, based in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Office software and a keen eye for detail. The Digital Publishing team is responsible for publishing over 90 UK, US and International reports each month as well as content for over 60 categories within Mintels range of global vertical platforms.

What you will be doing:

• Maintaining content on Mintels Reports website, ensuring all content is up-to-date and complete
• Communicating with external and internal proof readers, graphic designers and translators to ensure deadlines are met
• Promoting and maintaining the company style guide
• Working to strict and demanding quotas and deadlines
• Editing texts and submissions from around the world for grammar, spelling, punctuation and general readability, doing so with speed and precision
• Entering categories for Mintels global vertical platforms, ensuring that they are displaying correctly online and making any amendments as needed

What we are looking for:

• University degree in Communications, Publishing, English or similar
• Professional experience in content & copy editing
• Knowledge of publishing processes
• Good reading comprehension and typing speed
• Experience with using the tracked changes function
• Solid eye for detail
• Mandarin speaker would be a bonus
