We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Job Purpose:

Refine and implement best local / sub-regional category specific strategies. Work closely with local procurement teams to ensure identify and recommend ´best in class´ suppliers and maintain good. Prepare and support supplier negotiations at local level.

Your tasks:

• Managed RFPs including all categories in Transportation, Site Services, IT, Services, Production Equipment, Ground Fleet, Network Supplies for APAC.
• Provide sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of local or sub-regional frame contracts
• Transferring data into a new format to make it more appropriate for analysis delivering logical framework for decision making.
• Performs tender management and acts as the point of contact with Sourcing Managers, Business Units and Suppliers during the whole process.
• Support in Procurement services integration. Achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price and service
• Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods and services and transportation capacities in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business / function in scope
• Interpreting business needs and translating them into critical elements in tender (RFI,RFQ,RFP) with strong analytical skills.
• Communicating the benefits of tender scenarios driving tools for bidding negotiations.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of local:
  • Category trends
  • Suppliers / key local players
• Supporting and implement local category strategies leveraging on regional and global strategies
• Prepare and support supplier negotiations at local level with more senior colleagues
• Prepare and conduct tenders (incl. e-sourcing) with more senior sourcing colleagues
• Ensure (sourcing, purchasing, company) policy adherence of local divisional colleagues
• Supplier management:
  • database maintenance
  • supplier classification
  • new sources identification
• Track and maintain accurate data in the Procurement tools:
  • suppliers, rates, contracts
  • spend, projects, master data
• Establish close contact with local business units to ensure actual and future knowledge of demand and service quality

Your profile:

Education Level

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification

Experience Level

• Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience in Procurement
• Understanding of and working experience with procurement practices and procedures and commercial law, preferably category specific
• Experience in running online eSourcing rfqs applied in different levels of tender complexities from lean 3-bids-and-a-buy to complex multi-lot tenders.
• Knowledge and skillset running Jaggaer eSourcing or its equivalent for bidding and strong in MS excel applications.
• Experience in running an eAuction.
• proficient in both English and Mandarin languages.
• Analytical, expert in excel or equivalent application and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible to travel locally
