We are currently looking for a highly competent Global Procurement Manager based in our Global Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, responsible for managing commercial and sourcing activities within the Dairy category used by Nestlé worldwide.

Reporting to the Global Category Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the category strategy for the spend in scope on a global level, utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

A day in a life of a Global Procurement Manager for Dairy:

• Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
• Define and implement the category strategy, utilizing Strategic Sourcing processes, tools and policies.
• Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
• In partnership with Supplier Relationship Management, lead the commercial relationship with strategic suppliers and ensure regular contract SLAs.
• Ensure compliance to Nestlés Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.

What makes you successful:

• University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within a strategic sourcing role, ideally gained within dairy (other commodities, ingredients or raw materials categories can be considered)
• Strong expertise in supplier management, ideally with exposure to the US dairy market
• High level analytical and project management skills
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred

• Fluency in English, and Mandarin. Any other language will be an asset.
