The Intern – Intercompany Finance plays a key role in the Intercompany function within the financial closing. The Intern – Intercompany Finance is required to perform the duties and responsibilities in accordance with Company Policies and with audit compliance. This is a temporary role.

This position is part of the Center for Finance Services (CFS) and will be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform monthly Intercompany reconciliation and confirmation.

• Investigate, work closely with country controllers to resolve the imbalances / disputed item related to un-reconciled items.

• Perform month-end tasks related to intercompany and able to handle corporate team queries, investigate and provide resolution during month end closing.

• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation in accordance with Finance Manual Policy and carry out investigation if any discrepancies noted.

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues whenever necessary.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Leadership experience – student body leaders, lead project, involvement in student councils.

• Need to be responsible and have effective time management skill -prioritizing task effectively.

• Quizitive and analytical, able to assess discrepancies and determine resolution.
