FUNCTION: Digital Business Solutions - HR

LOCATION: Sunway Geo, Selangor


ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role entails managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 employee service requests forwarded by the CoE or Business HR, and addressing complex employee queries pertaining to employee administration. This involves leveraging expertise in employee services to ensure all administrative processes align with BAT’s business strategy and resource requirements.

Employee Service Team Lead

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: Direct Reporting Business Units


WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Employee Services resource is accountable for ensuring that relevant processes are delivered effectively and always provides excellent Customer services, ensure all key results are achieved for Employee Services scope
  • Is expected to carry out Employee Services requests sent by the business as well as answers employee queries
  • Provides Employee Services related expertise, ensuring that all administration processes are conducted and aligned to BAT’s business strategy and resourcing needs
  • Works closely with HRBPs and CoEs to deliver HR strategy, processes, and ad hoc project support assigned by Line Manager and Operation Lead
  • Uses HR procedures and guidance available to them to administer the processing of data changes, entry, and workflow within technology solutions
  • Monitors own performance against service standards to ensure that support and services are provided in line with established SLAs & measurables
  • Maintains data configuration ensuring employee data sync between SuccessFactors and other HR systems
  • Ensures the confidentiality of personnel records in close coordination with HR technology lead and ensures that the appropriate security is in place for accessing HR data
  • Delivers the regular reconciliation of HR data
  • Ability to improve specialist services and processes and manage appropriately
  • Delivers data management services to meet established targets through continuous evaluation, quality assurance and focused improvement efforts


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Attention to details and ability to produce accurate work
  • Fluent in both English & Malay language
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Experiences with SuccessFactors is an added advantage
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and good analytical skills
  • Strong customer service mind set with good communication and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Possesses high degree of professionalism, patient, and grace in servicing clients
  • Resourceful, proactive, attentive to details and a good team player
  • Willing to support on Public Holidays on a rotation basis


BENEFICIAL

  • Experienced with Regional HRSS is a plus
  • Strong in data management & HR processes are added advantage
