Shipping Specialist

Our client is a world-class global commodities warehousing and freight forwarding company, including logistics services, and is currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Shipping Executive to assist in freight forwarding operations, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of goods for valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange and coordinate export shipping according to clients requirements.
• Coordinate with shipping and forwarding contractors and internal warehouse operations to support timely receipt and delivery of shipments.
• Compile monthly rates from shipping lines.
• Attend to customer inquiries in coordination with the Commercial and Customer Service Managers, managing customer expectations.
• Liaise with shipping lines for arrangements such as equipment and space.
• Perform other tasks or assignments as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics roles.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and shipping is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and in teams to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.
• Adaptability to industry changes and a willingness to learn.
