Finance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Controls and perform all tasks relating to General Ledger and ensure proper monthly closing of accounts.

• Perform analyzes of financial statements/costing to enhance companys efficiency and productivity.

• Prepare quarterly and yearly group accounts, consolidated financial statements, budget, financial forecast and projection.

• Coordinating compliance according to guidelines and procedures pertaining to the finance policies and ensure all accounting matters comply with statutory requirements on Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).

• Ensure to meet tight deadlines on all financial reporting, quarterly results announcements to Bursa Securities, tax and other statutory submission to relevant authorities.

• Liaise with external/internal auditors, company secretaries, regulatory authorities and other parties to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements.

• In charge of cash flow, prepare monthly forecast for cash flow management purpose.

• Any other ad-hoc assignments. 

Requirements:

• Candidate must process a Degree in Accountancy or related professional qualification or ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA or its equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in a manufacturing concern.

• Knowledge/ experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, consolidation of group of accounts, costing, company secretarial, etc.

• Familiar with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Bursa Securities Main Market Listing Requirements and other relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.

• Good management and leadership skills to lead a team of accounting and finance deadline.

• Applicant must be able to work independently and willing to take new responsibilities and grow with the role. Required language(s): Chinese, English, Bahasa Malaysia.
