Shipping & Procurement Executive

Responsibilities :

Shipping :

• Prepare import documents including packing list, invoices, country of origin, letter of credit, insurance, etc.

• Understand of Malaysia custom act and able to attend to custom and MITI matters, eg. duty, sales tax, HS code, Duty exemption, application of Certificate Of Origin , Import License, LMW, PCA & others.

• Liaise with supplier and forwarder on delivery schedule and shipment arrangement. Handling cargo clearance, permit and delivery, for both import and export

• Liaise with warehouse team on loading and unloading

Procurement :

• Source for vendors, request for quotations and make recommendations to operation department

• Prepare purchase requisition and purchase orders

• Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues such as quality or quantity discrepancies

• Update purchasing records, data, and pricing into the system

Requirements and Qualification :

• Primary Language: Mandarin (As require to liaise with Suppliers from Taiwan and China Mainland)

• Bachelors degree in business, logistics, or a related field may be required

• Preferred working experience in procurement or purchasing field.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

• 1 year above relevant working experience in an import and export oriented manufacturing environment.

• Well verse in Microsoft Office (word, excel and power point).

• Good teamwork skill, communication skills, adaptability, good organization and planning skill

• Effective problem-solving abilities.
