About the role
Vital Healthcare Sdn Bhd has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Planner to join our team in Klang, Selangor. As a key member of our Manufacturing division, you will be responsible for overseeing the production planning and scheduling processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of our healthcare products.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and company objectives
Responsible for planning materials requirements for production and machine planning.
Responsible for continuing monitoring and reviewing stock levels, and order lead times to ensure direct production materials inventory is sufficient and fully optimized
Responsible for preparing and updating daily output reports, weekly production schedules, and monthly production plans & reports
Responsible for scheduling sales orders production to meet the on-time shipment delivery.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the overall production system
Provide training and mentorship to junior production planning staff
Other work assigned by the department as needed.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role, preferably within the healthcare or manufacturing industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Proficient in the use of production planning and scheduling software, such as ERP systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments
A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
