Product Manager - Malaysia

Job Purpose : Design and develop marketing plans, and assist teams in the execution of the same with the aim to drive sales and increase brand visibility for Cipla. Accountabilities: Provide customized marketing support for the country in achieving business growth and sales targets Devise country-specific marketing plans and campaigns Design and develop promotional material for the country in coordination with the Medical affairs team Develop and recommend communication strategies to country teams, to help them drive their sales numbers Conduct review meetings to understand marketing needs, with country-based teams every quarter, and with entire regional team, once in six months Devise the budgeting and targeting plan for the country to ensure control of spend on marketing/ logistics within budget Plan marketing budget allocation/ distribution, based on defined parameters (such as country sales targets) Track and control country-wise spend on marketing activities and travel budgets Track in market - secondary sales budgets and update the same to country head for further action Plan, drive and execute annual marketing and branding initiatives to ensure execution of activities against plan Receive Marketing initiatives from the management and design an implementation plan Drive execution of the same with country head Align yearly planner activities with promotional budget allocated to each country Collate and track monthly updates on the progress of the initiative implementation and update the same to the Country head for further action Organize company-own events and coordinate participation in industry-organized events and conferences to ensure the companys visibility & KOL service across these events Coordinate with various stakeholders (country manager for KOL list, MICE team for logistics, medical team for conference agenda & content, and events team) to ensure smooth operation during event Build and maintain relationships with partners and KOLs across countries to drive advocacy for the business Gather and analyse internal sales data and external market intelligence data to understand competitor strategies, global developments and regional market dynamics and hence identify partner & customer needs Perform field work regularly with each FLM monthly and with medical representatives. Conduct meetings with marketing lead/ department of partners to understand the market dynamics, customer need and gaps Map and study new products for feasibility of launch Develop in-depth market and product analysis using IMS data to identify opportunities and assess the value of potential business opportunities Propose indicative action plan based on conclusions drawn from data analysis Collate and compile LBE (Latest Business Estimate) on monthly basis and submit it to business team to track business progress Conduct trainings for internal customers to drive motivation and reward top performers, and for partners to build the Cipla brand Recognise the needs for training from internal sales team and communicate this need to SFE team, and ensure that the required training is planned Identify top performers across teams and propose spot rewards in line with budgets Design agenda for ‘Therapy Refreshers (regular basis trainings) for field force Organize promotional doctor visits to plant locations, and design the agenda for the same such as arranging add-on talks with medical team/ advisory meetings etc.

Educational qualifications: B. Pharm MBA in marketing is a must Relevant experience: Minimum 3-5 years of rich pharma marketing experience OR 6-7 years of product management experience (in lieu of direct marketing experience in pharma) Product/ marketing experience across multiple specialties/ therapy areas is preferred
