This role serves as a Print & Color Engineer for various packaging Print Quality Management (PQM) programs. The main responsibilities include conducting color and print quality evaluations on packaging using spectrophotometers and other measurement equipment, with results measured against established brand standards. The role also involves onsite certification audits of packaging production facilities to assess print capabilities, review equipment, and conduct print inspections according to specified requirements. Evaluation reports and inspection results will be communicated using our dedicated PQM system. You will work independently and as part of a global team, emphasizing collaboration and teamwork. Opportunities for management roles may arise as the team grows.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform print quality evaluations using color measurement equipment and visual inspection
• Conduct onsite inspections of print facilities, review equipment, and assess competency
• Approve printed packaging onsite, troubleshoot print defects, and provide solutions
• Complete detailed reports and input data into the PQM system
• Respond to technical support inquiries via email and phone
• Utilize asset management systems for images and artwork files
• Ensure data and report accuracy for quality control
• Follow standard operating procedures and company policies
• Share knowledge with team members to develop cross-disciplinary skills
• Communicate issues or inaccuracies to management
• Be prepared for frequent business trips to surrounding countries

Minimum educational and experience requirements:

• Degree in Printing or Packaging Engineering or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in printing, packaging, and prepress technology
• Proficiency in English, both speaking and writing
• Extensive knowledge of printing, prepress, color management, quality control, substrates, inks, and print processes (lithographic, flexographic, gravure, digital, expanded gamut, etc.)

Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to surrounding countries.
