Merchandiser/Buyer

This job is about being a Merchandiser/Buyer, where youll plan exciting product launches and negotiate with suppliers. You might like this job because it combines creativity with strategy, and youll help shape what customers see in stores! Plan merchandise strategic launches and promotions and determine pricing strategy. Source/develop new items and negotiate prices with suppliers. Assist in developing optimum product mix, market research, market competitor analysis, and data analysis. Sales forecasting, budget management, and sales performance analysis reports. Monitor and implement effective inventory control. Identify problems and propose an improvement plan. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Merchandising Manager. Job Requirements

Preferably, those with household or furniture product knowledge will be an added advantage. Willing to travel locally & overseas. Mandarin speakers will be an added advantage. At least 3-5 years of working experience, in buying/merchandising/purchasing. Skills
