About the role
As a Logistics Operations Executive at JK Schelkis Offshore Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and seamless operation of our land transport, sea freight and air freight activities. This full-time position is based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the success of our transport and logistics business.

What you'll be doing
Handle key clients/accounts. Close contact and meet customer's requirement.
Prepare quotations for all freights (land, sea, air)
Ability to convert quotation to firm orders/awards from client.
Sourcing of freight options. Cost control, subcontractor management.
Manage and monitor operations movement (Land, sea, air freight).
Able to lead and assign tasks to downline staffs, coordinators.
Give job instruction to own transport department, coordinators and subcontractors, forwarders & carriers.
Coordinate and communicate with department downline, drivers, client, vendors, forwarder for all logistics aspect of shipment update.
Work according to deadlines. Able to meet deadlines, KPI.
Able to meet monthly department target.
Closing of jobs in system on time and accurate costings. Ensure company profit margin.
What we're looking for
Degree or diploma in related fields.
Computer knowledge, MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook Email, Office 365)
Minimum 3 year of experience and knowledge in land trucking operations.
Knowledge in freight forwarding, sea freight, air freight, warehousing.
Knowledge in seaport and airport operations in Johor and Singapore.
Knowledge on Msia customs procedure.
Language: English and Malay is compulsory.
Working days: 5 ½ Days /Week. Saturdays work from home
Can work with minimum supervision and guidance.
