Provide legal review and advice to all levels of management on a wide variety of legal and business issues across APAC entities. Negotiate, draft and review agreements, including master service agreements, vendor agreements, reseller agreements, conditions of sale, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, customer PO's terms and conditions, statements of work, partnership agreements, etc. Assist in compliance reporting to corporate headquarters. Assist in all ad-hoc projects. Legal review of tenders/bids and ensure bid inputs comply with corporate policies. Manage and assist in legal compliance matters, ISO certifications, business licenses, contractual compliance, etc. Assist in licensing and compliance matters. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Law At least 3-4 years of private practice and/or in-house counsel experience (preference for experience within an MNC), handling corporate/commercial matters. Strong and effective communication skills.
Mandarin Chinese proficiency (both written and spoken)
is preferred to support regional entities (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan). Good business sense with the ability to connect legal and business knowledge to provide strategic advice. Keen attitude towards learning and a can-do attitude towards non-standard work tasks. Ability to work well in a team-centric environment, both within the Legal team and externally with other corporate and business teams. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in the IT sector and/or in an intermediary setting (distributor, reseller, etc.) is an added advantage.
