Raffles Kuala Lumpur is undergoing expansion, extending our program offerings from Diploma to Bachelor Degree. In light of this growth, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Full-Time Lecturers in the field of Multimedia/Graphic Design and Creative New Media Technology.

Job Description:

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Multimedia/Graphic Design and Creative New Media Technology, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in a clear and appropriate manner. Your role will involve developing students creativity and problem-solving skills through study, research, and practical projects. Additionally, you will play a crucial part in monitoring and maintaining high student morale and motivation. Alongside teaching responsibilities, you will be expected to carry out other duties related to the courses you are involved in.

These are the teaching competencies that were looking for:

• Design Basic

• 3D Technique

• Digital Typography

• Motion Graphic

• Drawing for Designers

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the curriculum for the diploma and bachelor programs.

• Plan and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.

Teaching and Assessment:

• Facilitate learning experiences that promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance.

Student Engagement:

• Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.

• Actively participate in student mentorship, guidance, and support.

Program Expansion:

• Contribute to the successful transition of programs from Diploma to Bachelor Degree level.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with colleagues and academic leadership to ensure the seamless delivery of educational programs.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in the field.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

• A Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Multimedia/Graphic Design and Creative New Media Technology or related field.

Experience:

• Previous teaching experience at the diploma or degree level is preferred.

• Industry experience in related field is an advantage.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Adaptability:

• Ability to adapt to changes in curriculum and teaching methodologies.

Passion for Education:

• A genuine passion for educating and nurturing students in the field of Multimedia/Graphic Design and Creative New Media Technology.
