About the role
LONGMOTIVE (M) SDN.BHD. is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Kempas Johor. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising and executing innovative design solutions that bring our clients' visions to life. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our design-focused company.
What you'll be doing
Collaborating with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
Developing creative and functional interior design concepts and plans
Selecting and sourcing appropriate materials, furniture, and fixtures
Overseeing the implementation of design projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines
Monitoring and managing project progress, communicating with clients, and addressing any issues that arise
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in interior design
Contributing to the overall growth and success of the design team and the company
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably in a commercial or residential setting
Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and spatial planning
Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders
A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for problem-solving and delivering exceptional design solutions
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines
