To lead the strategic and operational management of the banks liabilities and portfolio within the Global Markets division. This includes overseeing liquidity, funding, interest rate risk, and foreign exchange exposures, while optimizing the banks balance sheet and profitability. The role is pivotal in aligning asset-liability strategies with market dynamics and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to manage the banks liabilities portfolio, including deposits, wholesale funding, and money market instruments. Lead strategic asset allocation and ensure alignment with the banks risk appetite and return objectives. Optimize pricing and payout structures across retail and institutional segments to drive margin improvement. Liquidity & Risk Management

Ensure adequate liquidity to meet business needs and regulatory requirements (e.g., LCR, NSFR). Monitor and manage interest rate and foreign exchange risks, ensuring exposures remain within approved limits. Provide technical support to ALCO and contribute to interest rate and FX rate setting. Performance & Growth

Drive growth in liabilities balances, fee income, and customer acquisition through targeted campaigns and pricing strategies. Collaborate with sales, digital, and product teams to develop and roll out acquisition and retention initiatives. Lead regular business reviews, forecasting, and portfolio analysis to inform tactical and strategic decisions. Governance & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and market conduct standards. Represent the bank in regional and global liquidity forums and liaise with Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams. Leadership & Team Development

Build and lead a high-performing team with strong analytical and market expertise. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop talent within the Portfolio & Liabilities Management function Seniority level
