About the role
Pestgroup Synergy Sabah Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Entomologist to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Contributing your expertise in the study and management of insects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our growing organisation.
What youll be doing
Conducting comprehensive surveys and assessments to identify and monitor insect populations in assigned areas
Analysing insect data to determine potential pest issues and develop targeted control strategies
Providing expert advice and recommendations to clients on effective, sustainable pest management solutions
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement integrated pest management programs
Staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in entomology, and sharing knowledge with the team.
What were looking for
A bachelors or degree in Entomology, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
Comprehensive knowledge of insect taxonomy, biology, and ecology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and develop effective pest management strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in reporting.
Willing to travel.
