Requirements: -
Candidate must possess at least a recognized Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation and reporting skills.
Possess strong initiatives, fast learning ability, able to work independently and with high accountability.
Must be literate in English and have a good knowledge to use computer, computer software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD etc.
At least 2-5year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experience in designs for 275kV / 132kV / 33kV / 11kV / LV Electrical System in accordance with MS, IEC and other related standards would be advantageous.
Candidates with PEPC will be considered for senior positions (Associate and Project Director).
Job Responsibilities: -
Preliminary Design: Perform initial plant room sizing and cost estimation for electrical services.
Detailed Design: Develop detailed electrical system designs, including necessary calculations.
Electrical system: Overcurrent Design, Earth fault protection Design, Cable Sizing, Load Sizing, Load Flow, Arc Flash etc.
Meetings: Attend meetings with relevant stakeholders to discuss project progress and requirements.
Liaison: Coordinate with authorities and service providers to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare clarifications, risk checks, and design inputs for tender submissions.
Project Implementation: Oversee and manage the implementation of electrical systems on-site.
