About the role
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at Winlux Dream Sdn Bhd in Simpang Ampat, Penang. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of various woodwork projects in our workshop and on-site.
What you'll be doing
Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine project requirements
Cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components to construct furniture, fixtures, and other structures
Installing and finishing carpentry work, such as cabinets, doors, and trim
Maintaining and repairing existing woodwork as needed
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards
Collaborating with the project team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects
What we're looking for
At least 2-3 years of experience as a Carpenter in the Carpentry & Cabinet Making industry
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and collaboration skills
