Business Development Manager

Responsibilities :

  1. Identify Growth Opportunities: Develop strategies to identify new business opportunities within the natural resources sector (covering agricultural, fertiliser and mininganalysis) focusing on testing, inspection, and analysis services.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and decision-makers.
  3. Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive business development efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets through new client acquisition and growth of existing accounts.
  4. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to understand industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
  5. Overall responsibility for the marketing and business development strategy for Agri division of Inspectorate Malaysia
  6. Coordination with Operational Management to formulate a sales and marketing strategy for each Inspectorate Malaysia office
  7. Key contact with major customers to increase sales and market share with those key customers
  8. Analysis of the market to identify trends, opportunities and threats - communication of those opportunities to Operations and Management
  9. Be responsible for sales increase in Agri division
  10. Identify business opportunities for profitable growth in Malaysia
  11. Be responsible for the coordination and submission of Local Rates and for Malaysia clients as well participate in Regional / Global rate submissions
  12. Prepare RFQ, tender/sales proposal for onward submissions to potential /current client
  13. Assist with the recovery debts as and when required
  14. Responsible for achievement of the budgeted Agri revenue nationwide
  15. To assist all Agri branches to develop their local business, marketing and revenues
  16. To assist, attend and solve all Agri customers complaints and problem
  17. To train and evaluate Agri staffs knowledge/skill from time to time
  18. To ensure adequate manpower, equipment and supplies for Agri division
  19. To provide Agri Monthly Report to CTD Director Malaysia
  20. Operate the Companys Business Management System and HSE system on an on-going basis
  21. To perform any other related duties that the Company may assign from time to time

Requirements:

  1. Possess at least a Bachelors Degree and above
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role in Agri field
  3. Required language(s): must be fluent in English
  4. Works well under pressure, challenges status quo
  5. Able to plan, organize and implement a range of business development promotion programs and events
  6. Strong communication skills
