Business Development Executive - Contract Logistics (Shah Alam)

Captalent Consulting is an established human capital solutions company providing a range of services that enhances the human capital value of its clients. We are currently looking to fill the following position for our client, a leading logistics MNC in Shah Alam, Selangor providing freight forwarding, Cross-Border, e-Commerce, Custom Brokerage, Project Logistics and Contract Logistics services.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (Contract Logistics)

(Based in Setia Alam, Shah Alam, Selangor)

Responsibilities

• Probe, solicit, interpret and use internal and/pr external data provided to speak to potential customers to address their needs and communication business solutions
• Track and update pipeline opportunities against budget detailing the requirements, revenue, profit and timing
• Close prospective accounts and achieve monthly new revenue & profit goals
• Participate in developing the response to RFI/RFQ/RFP opportunities
• Provide logistics quotations for customer enquiries
• Sourcing prospective vendors within countries managed, collate and review best applied rates
• Actively engage internal and external stakeholders to probe & clarify information in order to complete solutioning
• Proactively records, minutes all corresponding sales call/meeting with sessions with client/vendors.

Requirements

• Degree or above in Supply Chain / Logistics Management or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in contract logistics field segment. (freight, warehousing, distribution & custom clearance).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Power Point applications is a must. Working knowledge in CAD software is preferred, and in BI tools such as Power BI and QlikSense is an advantage.
• Willing to travel domestic and intra-Asia.
• Must be proficient in Mandarin, English and Malay. Mandarin will be the means of communication to liaise with stakeholders
• Dynamic, self-motivated, determined, persistence, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Works 5 days a week, but will have to be flexible with time to meet customer demand.

Salary from RM3,500 -RM5,000 with sales commission. Position report to the Business Development Manager (Contract Logistics)
