- Maintain and manage Microsoft services Windows 11 and O365. Ensure these services operate optimally and securely, with cyber security best practices.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to efficiently manage and deliver Infrastructure projects, ensuring successful implementation within defined timelines and budgets.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to end-user computing, encompassing both hardware and software components.
- Proactively address any challenges that may arise, striving to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, process documentation, and training materials. Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date with the latest security best practices.
- Lead a team of End User Computing (EUC) field engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Identify team skill development opportunities, with a focus on cyber security and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate closely with other IT team members and various departments to ensure the seamless delivery of IT services. Promote effective communication and cooperation to achieve common goals.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Participate in evaluating and implementing new solutions that align with the organizations evolving needs and improve the resiliency and security of EUC services.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve issues promptly and ensure the efficient delivery of IT services. Maintain strong vendor relationships to leverage expertise and resources when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal clients regarding EUC-related concerns. Act as a point of contact, responding promptly to inquiries and ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
- A minimum of 5 years’ support services experience in IT Help Desk and/or Desktop Support operations troubleshooting PC, peripheral, and network issues AND 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience
- Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
- Experienced in Microsoft environments of 3000-5000 end users
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Excellent customer service, written and oral skills.
- Self-motivated and goal driven, with the ability to multitask and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Windows Desktop applications; various operating systems such as Windows 10, 11. Windows 10 and Windows Servers are a plus.
- Knowledge of software applications and basic hardware for the PC
- Principles and terminology of networking on the Layer 1 and 2 side
- Knowledge and demonstrated expertise with the management and support of Microsoft Active Directory Domains.
- Knowledge and demonstrated expertise with the management and support of Microsoft Office, Office 365, and common productivity applications.
- Knowledge of wireless networking components and terminology;
- Awareness of commonly used Microsoft products and services
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, status actions items, respond to changing priorities, and react to short deadlines.
- Creating and maintaining user self-help documentation, technical documentation and procedural documentation.
- Knowledge of Anti-Virus applications
