As a Sports Advisor, your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores ‘satisfied or satisfied. From a friendly and professional welcome through to a quick and easy payment process, your role is to always deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon heavily invests in the development of teammates so that those who want to build careers within the business are able to flourish within their roles. Whether youre a student looking for a part-time role or someone looking for a complete career change, Decathlon can cater for all.

Responsibilities:

1. To Customers

1. Welcome customers in a professional manner.
2. Fully commit to the satisfaction of every customer and determine a suitable solution for every situation (returns, complaints, checkout, etc.).
3. Educate customers on omni-channel brand offerings for a complete range of interested products.
4. Know the technical features of Decathlon products and user benefits to offer customers appropriate products and services, regardless of whether they are in range.
5. Develop the network of customers both in-store and online, to know them better and establish a personal relationship.
6. Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports.
7. Improve and develop customer information by encouraging the subscription/registration of loyalty cards to customers.
8. Participate in sports-related community events within the neighborhood of the store.

2. To Decathlon Malaysia

1. Know the ambition of the department and take action with the team to achieve it.
2. Promote innovation and sports experience in-store.
3. Boost Decathlon Malaysias best sales by using resources and commercial tools.
4. Put together the layout in-store in accordance with implantation principles and guidelines.
5. Produce high-quality implantation based on Satisfied Customer Family (FCS).
6. Maintain the layout with good facing to make customers satisfied.
7. Ensure that stock is accurate and available by using the automatic replenishment system.
8. Bring awareness about Decathlon Connect to all stakeholders.

3. For Safety of People and Goods

1. Enforce basic safety and security standards in the departments.
2. Know and enforce the preventive and operating guidelines regarding fire safety and evacuation procedures.
3. Apply and enforce all the security procedures (regarding people, goods, and cash) and play an active role in combating shrinkage.
4. Observe the product safety policy (standardized adjustments and traceability of sensitive products, use-by dates, etc.).

4. Development and Complementary Skills

1. Know and manage the personal development plan and training plan.
2. Participate in training, develop training skills, and become a trainer.
3. Improve skills of the teammates with the leader.
