Software Specialist (L2 Support)

Overview: Design and implement customized software solutions to meet customer needs. Collaborate with the Application Support and R&D teams to ensure solutions satisfy customer requirements.

  • Design, develop, and maintain software products that meet customer requirements.
  • Engage with customers to discuss new features and customization solutions based on their requests.
  • Prepare technical documentation such as system customization specifications based on customer feedback and requirements.
  • Create and maintain test data for various testing scenarios, especially with new software updates.
  • Participate in solution demonstrations for new or existing customers.
  • Work with related departments to ensure continuous testing, improvement, and efficiency enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team on software enhancements, customization, and bug resolution.
  • Provide L1 and L2 support for troubleshooting and data amendments, potentially after hours in emergencies.
  • Perform other projects as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Experience in designing and executing testing processes.
  • Knowledge of software testing and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards or experience with web servers and VMs is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently; training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in English and Malay, both written and spoken.
