Junior HR cum Account Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Cum Admin Executive to join our team at EMPIRE WORLD EXPRESS SDN BHD. This role plays a vital part in managing our human resources, administrative tasks, and basic accounting functions to ensure smooth daily operations

What Youll Be Doing

·      Managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance reviews, and training & development

·      Administering payroll, staff benefits, claims, and leave management

·      Ensuring HR policies and company practices comply with current labour laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, etc.)

·      Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and files

·      Handling general office administration such as office supplies, documentation, meetings, and company correspondences

·      Assisting in developing and implementing HR policies and initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention

·      Assist with accounting task such as invoicing, accounts payable & accounts receivable functions including reconcile statements

·      Assist in general workers wages calculation

·      Coordinating with the external accountant on monthly accounts, billings, and payment matters

·      Responding to HR and admin-related inquiries from staff and supporting other departments as needed

What Were Looking For

·      Diploma or Degree in Business Admin, Human Resource, Accounting, or related field

·      At least 2 year (s) of working experience in related field is required for this position

·      Basic knowledge of accounting practices or bookkeeping will be an added advantage

·      Familiar with Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience in using payroll/accounting software is a plus

·      Preferable skills (s): SQL

·      Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

·      Independent, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
