Sourcing Specialist at Hitachi Sunway Information Systems

Job Responsibility:-

  • Installation & Upgrade - To work closely with Project Leader/PM to deliver technical installation, upgrade and migration of JD Edwards system (e.g. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or World) and related software (e.g. WebLogic, WebSphere, AS400, Windows, LINUX, UNIX, Oracle, SQL, DB2/400, MS Visual C++ etc.)
  • Updated Technology skillset - To keep abreast of the latest technological advancements in network infrastructure, system administration, security, backup, disaster recovery and any skills set that could assist in their day-to-day work.
  • Implementation - To assist in test run, documentation, data conversion, troubleshooting, preparation for live setup and system tuning.
  • To conduct technical training.
  • To perform ad-hoc assignments pertaining to technical work.
  • To resolve software issues, update software version and apply patches.
  • To assist and jointly execute a hand-over meeting upon successful implementation to the Response Line Team.
  • To ensure that all targets specified in the Job Planning and Review documents (revised yearly) are met as it serves to guide you to the companys overall target.
  • Any other duties as and when required by the management from time to time.

Requirements:-

  • Possess at least an undergraduate degree in analytical fields such as Management Information System (MIS), Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server, Windows 10/11), including system administration, troubleshooting, and security configurations.
  • Added advantage if have at least one (1) year of experience in JDE/ERP systems and/or JDE/ERP consulting. Some systems implementation experience would be helpful.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate convincingly and effectively with different parts of the organization.
