Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client, who is currently seeking a Corporate Secretary to join their dynamic team—this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company in a pivotal governance role.

Job Description

• Provide in-house corporate secretarial support by managing and overseeing secretarial practices in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of pre- and post-meeting documentation for the Board of Directors, Board Committees, Annual General Meetings, and internal management meetings.
• Maintain and update all secretarial records and documents in an organized and accurate manner.
• Draft resolutions, minutes of meetings, annual returns, and other statutory documents.
• Perform general secretarial duties with minimal supervision.
• Support the compilation and production of the Annual Report.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Possess ICSA qualification or other relevant certification.
• Solid understanding of the Companies Act 2016, Main Market Listing Requirements, the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance, and other relevant statutory or regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently under pressure.
