Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact and expert user for overseas warehousing management systems in the APAC region.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on system functionalities and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with IT support to resolve system-related problems.
  • Customize system configurations and settings to meet organisational needs and requirements.
  • Regularly review system performance and suggest improvements or updates to enhance efficiency and usability.
  • Coordinate and manage regional logistics contracts, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract administration.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance to ensure adherence to terms, specifications, and deadlines.
  • Supervise logistics activities, such as warehousing and inventory management, to support regional operational needs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimise logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and analyse data to evaluate logistics performance and identify areas for improvement within the regional context.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best logistics and supply chain management practices relevant to the region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics operations, contract management, or supply chain management within the regional context.
  • Thorough understanding of logistics principles, practices, and regulations relevant to the region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced regional environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational skills.
