Captalent Consulting is an established human capital solutions company providing a range of services that enhances the human capital value of its clients. We are currently looking to fill the following position for our client, a leading logistics MNC in Shah Alam, Selangor providing freight forwarding, Cross-Border, e-Commerce, Custom Brokerage, Project Logistics and Contract Logistics services.

AIR FREIGHT SALES MANAGER

(Based in Setia Alam, Shah Alam, Selangor)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of local air freight clients in Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Assist in coordinating air freight business solutions for clients in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and other South East Asia countries.
  • Promote services to existing or potential clients which target to expand customer database to increase sales revenue.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, execute sales plans, drive sales growth, expand market share, and to drive sales growth and support business expansion.
  • Identify potential clients and market opportunities, understand client needs, provide comprehensive solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction..

Requirements

  • Proficient in the air freight forwarding industry, with 5 years or more of experience in sales, marketing, and related fields.
  • Well-acquainted with the characteristics of industry clientele, boasting established customer relationships.
  • Extensive experience in marketing planning, capable of identifying and securing potential business partners, and well-versed in the current developments in the industry market.
  • Possess strong language proficiency in English, Mandarin and Malay to facilitate effective communication with customers within South East Asia countries.
  • Willing to undertake official business travel arrangements.
  • Possesses a strong sense of teamwork, enthusiasm for work, and strong sense of responsibility.

Salary from RM6,000 – RM8,with sales commission. Position report to the Airfreight Director.
