Your role

Are you an experienced, confident relationship builder? Are your market analysis skills second to none? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
– be responsible for timely and effective execution of firm and customer orders
– provide timely market news flow and block opportunities to internal and external clients
– develop key relationships with assigned clients through sales trading and execution services
– strong knowledge of front-to-back equities business flow eg. trading and settlement processes
– understand regulatory requirements related to trade executions and best practices
– collaborate with our global internal colleagues to sell or cross-sell global products or market to domestic customers

This is a 12 months fixed term role.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Markets Sales Trading team in Malaysia. We are responsible for providing company research based advice and ideas, macro-economic commentary market information, market commentary, trading views, execution consultancy and general account management. You will also have the capability to be at times the point person for managing our clients access to firm execution capabilities, research-based execution advice and ideas and managing and executing client orders.

Your expertise

– Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
– at least 8 – 10 years experience in financial services, with a focus on the Malaysia equity market
– Holder of Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia Capital Markets Services Representative’s License (CMSRL) or Modules 6 and 7 of the SC Licensing examinations obtained as pre-requisite to be licensed to trade
– ability to build and manage internal and external client relationships
– the key attributes of accuracy, diligence and detail orientated
– analytical, with a knack for analyzing intraday stock and market patterns
– experience in algorithm usage will be advantageous
– passionate about the client experience, with strong interpersonal skills (you have the human touch)
– outwardly confident and able to work well under pressure
